An exciting opportunity has arisen within Acrastyle as a Test Engineer in our Production Department.

the right person to join our team and support the business in this challenging role.
As a Test Engineer, your role would be to test & inspect a variety of protection
equipment to technical drawings & customer specifications.
The ideal candidate would be someone with a background in test & inspection with a
sharp eye for detail, enjoys working as part of a team, but can work on own initiative
and able to establish great working relationships within their team.

Day to day tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Mechanically and electronically inspecting/testing the panels to a high standard
- Following test and inspection processes and procedures
- Checking the quality of protection control panels to general arrangement diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics & customer specifications.
- Inspecting quality of disconnectors & LNERs
- Communicate faults and technical queries to Engineering and Production teams.
- Work well as part of a small team
- Comfortable with lone working
- Sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable working with high voltage test equipment
- Good communication skills
- Good level of computer literacy
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible approach to working, you should be able and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods.
- NVQ Level 3
- CSCS/ECS card holder
