Our Factory Acceptance Test - level 3 includes a wide a range of electrical, mechanical and functional checks. Protection and control is a highly technical discipline which ensures the safety of the electrical power grid. The functional checks ensure that the protection operates according to the relay settings. The benefit of the Factory Acceptance Test - level 3, is that the customer is left with the peace of mind, knowing that the substation cubicles have been thoroughly tested.
Full test documentation will be provided using either Acrastyle’s standard testing forms or the customer’s standard forms. This service can be extended to provide ongoing maintenance where we can periodically perform routine functional and performance tests to confirm that the system is still working correctly.
