Krishnakumar Ramanathan

Krishnakumar Ramanathan is a seasoned leader in the industrial products sector with over three decades of experience. He is the Managing Director and Group CEO of S&S Power Switchgear Limited, a company with a nearly 50-year legacy.

Previously, Krishnakumar served as CEO of Siemens Large Drives India, overseeing medium-voltage motor and drive production, managing turnkey electrical and automation packages for cement and mining industries, and comprehensive lifecycle services.

His experience spans engineering equipment, cement, steel, power, and food & beverages sectors. Having worked extensively in India and Europe, he has enhanced his cross-cultural business acumen.

He currently chairs the Technology and Innovation Support Council at IEEMA and has also held leadership roles in CII and FICCI, contributing substantially to industry growth.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Technology Management, and an M.Tech in Software Systems with a specialisation in Data Analytics from BITS Pilani.
